quasar's process produces biogas which is composed of approximately 60% methane, the principle ingredient in natural gas. quasar's biogas will be cleaned, separated and dried using technology provided by Biogas Technologies Unlimited, LLC (BTU is a Division of quasar energy group).
The efficient production of biogas has a positive impact on not only energy security but also the economic development of both urban and rural communities. The adoption of biogas is a natural step toward a hydrogen based society and sustainable waste treatment system.
Natural Gas:
Purified biogas, upgraded to natural gas standards (97% methane) allows for biogas to be directly fed into natural gas grids for distribution.
BTU's technology will clean, separate, and dry biogas from quasar's process. Resulting methane can be piped directly into the natural gas utility lines, used to generate electricity and heat, or further compressed and used as gasoline (CNG).
BTU's technology is unique because it is capable of cleaning small quantities of biogas.
Electricity:
Biomethane from quasar's process can also be used to generate electricity and heat.
CNG (Compressed Natural Gas):
CNG is the most climate friendly of more than seventy different fuels and is considered to be CO2 neutral. Compressed Biomethane is 30-60% less expensive than gasoline.
